A brief summary of the film: While three legends in the world of wine – Fred Dame, Steven Spurrier and Jancis Robinson –  meet in Paris to drink the rarest bottles of their careers, seven of the best blind tasters in the world gather in New York to settle an age-old argument in wine – can the world’s finest Pinot Noirs stand up to the great Burgundies of France? The final selections stun the table.  Master Sommelier Dustin Wilson brings the winning wines to Jancis, Steven and Fred in Paris. Could the results have the same revolutionary effect as the 1976 Judgment of Paris, and be the next ‘vinous shot’ heard round the world?

This is Jason Wise’s third film in the series and follows SOMM and SOMM 2: Behind the Bottle.   It has a running time of 80 minutes. It will have a nationwide release in November at selected theaters and has been profiled in the March issue of Decanter and the April issue of Forbes.

Also featured in the film are Sommeliers Ian Cauble, Madeline Puckette, Dustin Wilson, Carole Meredith, Steve Matthiasson, Becky Wasserman Hone, Paul Draper, Aldo Sohm and Jay Fletcher.

Brasswood, Press and Davis Estates are conducting private screenings of the movie.
