Franciscan Estate’s Equilibrium is crafted from a base of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc for a crisp citrusy core. Napa Valley Chardonnay is added to enhance the body and the mouthfeel of the wine, with Muscat added for floral aromatics. The final blend is 72% Sauvignon Blanc, 17% Chardonnay, and 11% Muscat – 83% fermented in stainless steel and 17% barrel fermented
The wine is a brilliant, very pale straw color with appealing and aromatic orange blossom, lemongrass, lychee and honeysuckle aromas. It offers a creamy, yet crisp mouth feel with ample white peach, lychee, tangerine, and a hint of yellow melon fruit flavors that dance across the palate. It finishes with well-balanced citrusy acidity that invites another sip. Pair with goat cheeses, light summer salads, pork or tofu Bahn Mi, Thai and other Asian Cuisine.
