Sometimes combining two words into one is a good idea. “Chocoholic” comes to mind.  Sometimes…well not so much.  Such is the case with a “wiking”, which is what you get when you combine wine and hiking.

According to this post from the New York Times, wiking is the latest trend in Oregon combining wine and hiking.  Great idea…horrible name for it.
